CSUEB Continuing Ed grad is new systems architect for ICFI

Chuck Akin earned a certification in Federal Enterprise Architecture (Framework) [FEA(F)] from CSUEB and was hired by ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI) as enterprise/systems architect. Akin has nearly two decades of experience in informatics and public health, supporting government clients with a variety of enterprise-wide and domain-specific IT solutions. Before joining ICF, he served in several senior technical and business roles for a large IT integrator, focusing on the development and implementation of service-oriented IT architectures, systems integration, and business process management. Akin has received multiple awards from the CDC and from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for his service.
